Cyanotype sensitizer kit

Two-part chemical solution that makes fabric or paper light-sensitive for sun printing. You coat the surface, arrange objects on top, expose to sunlight, and rinse to reveal white silhouettes against Prussian blue—photographic printing without a darkroom.

What to look for

  1. 1Two-part formula (keeps longer than pre-mixed)
  2. 2Enough solution to coat at least 15–20 letter-sized prints
  3. 3Works on fabric and paper so you can try different surfaces
  4. 4Instructions for mixing ratios and exposure times

Skip

  • Pre-sensitized paper only—mixing your own is more versatile and economical
  • Kits without clear storage instructions for mixed solution

Used for: Creating botanical sun prints with leaves and flowers · Printing onto tote bags and fabric · Making photogram art with found objects · Learning alternative photography processes
