Glass inking palette (10x10 inch)

Flat glass surface for rolling out and mixing ink. Non-porous glass shows ink transparency clearly and dried ink peels right off for cleanup, unlike plastic that stains permanently.

What to look for

  1. 1Tempered glass (won't shatter easily)
  2. 2At least 8x10 inches (smaller doesn't roll brayers properly)
  3. 3Smooth polished edges (no sharp corners)
  4. 4Rubber feet or backing to prevent sliding

Skip

  • Plastic palettes (stain permanently and warp)
  • Thin non-tempered glass (dangerous when it breaks)
  • Textured or frosted glass (interferes with ink rolling)

Used for: rolling out printing ink evenly · mixing custom ink colors · cleaning and reusing without stains · checking ink transparency before printing
