Braided nylon cord with reflective strips woven into the sheath that glows when light hits it. Used for marking temporary routes and creating visible waypoints in low-light navigation exercises.

What to look for

  1. 1550 lb minimum test strength for secure anchoring
  2. 2Reflective tracer visible from 20+ feet with phone light
  3. 3Inner core strands (7–11) for emergency cordage uses
  4. 450–100 foot lengths for marking extended routes

Skip

  • Cord advertised as reflective but only has dull gray coloring
  • Thin sheath that frays quickly from repeated tying
  • Lengths under 25 feet that limit route marking
